A fistful of smiles fell on the floor… Small gestures, playful, dance-like rhythms circle and twist around the cello. Even after impact, they continue to resonate, live on, evolve, and take on a life of their own. The technical challenge for the cellist lies in playing techniques borrowed from percussion instruments and the guitar.
